2019.11.07 THROW BACK THURSDAY - CENTRAL HIGH PARKING LOT plus Class News

I probably should have called Mooser to get his permission to post this week’s TBT, but somehow, I don't think he will mind. I look back at this picture of the parking lot on the 14th Street side of the School to see if I can recognize anyone's car. Joe Crow sure found his in a hurry! Hopefully, I thanked you when you sent this back in July, Mooser, but if I didn't I'm thanking you now and I know everyone will be immediately transported back to 1956 when they see this picture!

In my advancing dotage it’s fun to get these exchanges referencing "old times". You apparently are keeping your mind active with plans. Nancy and I are....well, managing. I've considered promoting a cruise ship theme conceived to accommodate the reality of aging -- continuous medical appointments. The ship services would include all the geriatric specialties, specialty diets, chair yoga, dominoes and sing-alongs led by washed-out rock and pop stars who've advanced in age beyond the ability to pull in latter generational audiences at tribal casinos.

Actually ours was the two-door 1955 Chevy Bel Air; circled in green. It was coffee brown with a cream-colored top V8 Powerglide! I don’t know whose the Ford was but Tommy Thomas’s 1956 black Bel-Air was just behind mine (hard to see in this pic).

'56 GIRLS' POTLUCK CHRISTMAS GET-TOGETHER on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10. If you live in the LR area or will be visiting then, PLEASE come!
