THROW BACK THURSDAY - 5th and BROWN BALL PARK

PLUS  CLASS NEWS

5th and Brown Ball Park. A great place to place to play baseball in the 60's. This field hosted a very large Little League (10-12 year old)

baseball tournament at this ball park every year in the early to mid 60's. Some great memories of playing ball there. These are pictures

of the facility today. It is now part of the Billy Mitchell's Boys Club. Growing up we just said 5th and Brown. Out in Centerfield back in

the day, you could see Lamar Porter field as well. In later years that was always a goal, to play there as well.

1955 NEWS

A most lovely evening with my first dance teacher, Ann Monahan, and her son, Tod Stobie--my first crush! She signed my tap shoe

and I tapped the first time step she ever taught me, which I've named "The Monahan." She said I remembered it correctly-- so I will

forever share this step in homage to this great lady!

Check out Ann's FB page.  She is a BIG DEAL in Malibu, along with her handsome son.
