So sorry to report that Hammond Satterfield's wife, Gwynne, passed away this morning.surrounded by Hammond and their four children. Gwynne McGee was a '57 Central High grad. Hammond has been Gwynne's caregiver for years. When you speak of a couple joined at the hip, they certainly fit that description to a tee. I truly believe Gwynne was prepared for today, but I am afraid as hard as Hammond has tried, it is going to be very difficult for him. Your love and support for him is needed and will be greatly appreciated. God Speed, dear friend!
